Loyalsock School District
A small, suburban public school system in Pennsylvania's Lycoming County is called the Loyalsock Township School District. The district is one of Pennsylvania's 500 public school districts. The district serves Williamsport suburb Loyalsock Township. The area of Loyalsock Township School District is about 21 square miles.
In Lycoming County, the Loyalsock Township School District spans a little more than twenty-one (21) square miles. The Donald E. Schick Elementary School (grades K–5), Loyalsock Township Middle School (grades 6-8), and Loyalsock Township High School (grades 9–12) are the three schools that make up the district.
Donald E. Schick Elementary, Loyalsock Township Middle School, and Loyalsock Township High School are the three schools that the district officially runs. But the middle and high school (grades 6–12) are located on the same campus. For training in the childcare, allied health services, culinary arts, and mechanical trades, high school students may choose to attend Lycoming Career and Technical Center. The district receives a wide range of services from the BLaST Intermediate Unit IU17, including: specialized instruction for students with disabilities; services for people with hearing, speech, and vision impairments; and professional development for staff and faculty.
