Midd-West School District
The Midd-West School District (MWSD), a medium-sized rural public school district in Snyder County, Pennsylvania, is situated in the borough of Middleburg. The area of the Midd-West School District is roughly 226 square miles. Beavertown, McClure, Beaver Springs, Adams, Beaver, Center, Franklin, Middlecreek, Perry, Spring, West Beaver, and West Perry Townships are among the communities served by the Midd-West School District.
The Middleburg Elementary School serves students in grades K–5, while West Snyder Elementary serves students in grades K–5, Midd-West Middle School serves students in grades 6-7, and Midd-West High School serves students in grades 8–12. Students in high school have the option of enrolling in the SUN Area Technical Institute to receive training in the mechanical and construction trades as well as in the culinary arts.
