As the driving force behind a collaborative educational effort with the community, the Montgomery Area School District's objective is to make sure that every student develops the independence, self-respect, and knowledge necessary to contribute successfully to the rapidly evolving global community.
A small, rural public school system in Lycoming County is called the Montgomery Area School District. Clinton Township, Brady Township, and Washington Township are all served by the school, which has its main campus in the Montgomery Borough. The district's total area is about 87 square miles.
Montgomery Area High School, Montgomery Middle School, and Montgomery Elementary School are the three public schools run by the Montgomery Area School District. The BLaST Intermediate Unit IU17 provides the district with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty. The district does not participate in a career and technical school in the region.
