Southern Tioga School District
A tiny, rural public school district serving sections of Tioga County and Lycoming County, the Southern Tioga School District is situated in northern Central Pennsylvania. It has an area of 485 square miles. Schools are run by the district in Blossburg, Liberty, and Mansfield. Residents of Roseville Borough, Putnam, Covington Township, Rutland Township, Richmond Township, Liberty Township, Bloss Township, Sullivan Township, Ward Township, and Morris Township are served by it. Jackson Township and Cogan House Township are both served by the Southern Tioga School District in Lycoming County.
The Southern Tioga School District runs three elementary schools (Blossburg Elementary School, Liberty Elementary School, and Warren Miller Elementary School) and two high schools (North Penn Mansfield Junior Senior High School and North Penn-Liberty High School) for students in grades 7 through 12. Residents of the Southern Tioga School District have the option of sending their children to one of the 13 public cyber charter schools in the Commonwealth or the district's myCyberCampus.
