West Branch School District
In Morrisdale, Clearfield County, and Clinton County, Pennsylvania, there is a mid-sized, rural public school system called West Branch Area School District. The district is one of Pennsylvania's 500 public school districts.
The West Branch Area Elementary School, West Branch Middle School, and West Branch Area Senior High School are the three institutions run by the West Branch Area School District. The schools are housed together in one large structure. The existing school structure was established in 1964, and a high school wing was added in 2005. For training in the construction and mechanical trades, architectural drafting and design technology, allied health services, cosmetology, and culinary arts and food management, high school students may choose to attend Clearfield County Career and Technology Center. The Central Intermediate Unit # 10 offers a wide range of services to the district, including specialized instruction for students with disabilities, services for people with hearing, speech, and visual impairments, as well as professional development for staff and faculty.

The West Branch Community Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to educational reform that works to improve education for kids in the West Branch Area School District. The mission of the Foundation is to support educational and scholarship initiatives of the West Branch Area School District by providing such opportunities as supporting education, providing opportunities, building futures, and recognizing excellence.
